Om bloggtjänstenBlogg Esse AB har sedan augusti 2007 utvecklat en ny programvara för bloggtjänsterna på blogg.se och webblogg.se. Under tiden har det funnits ett kontrakt med Desktop Headlines AS om användande av den gamla programvaran vilket löpte ut den 30 mars 2008.
Natten mellan den 31 mars och den 1 april (efter 47 timmars stopp och påbörjad men inte fullföljd flytt) gick vi tillbaka till den gamla programvaran för att ni som användare skulle kunna fortsätta att blogga. Vi var då förvissade om att nå en uppgörelse om användning av gamla programvaran ytterligare en månad.
Dessa förhandlingar strandade vid ett möte i Oslo den 10 april. Desktop Headlines vill stänga tjänsten med omedelbar verkan vilket Blogg Esse inte kan acceptera. Vi framförde ett förslag till uppgörelse i godo, som dessvärre inte godtogs. Vi kommer att upphöra använda gamla programvaran så snart det är möjligt.
Information om flytten till nya bloggplattformen sker via mail och/eller på info.blogg.se. Vi kommer att göra allt för att blogg.se skall bli den bästa bloggplattformen i Sverige.

Vadå de 50 största bloggarna? Alla bloggar är väl lika mycke värda. Är så trött på det eviga snacket om de största bloggarna och de som ligger överst på den förbannade aktiva listan. Har själv legat i toppen där ganska länge, men inget jag strävar efter. Repektera även den "lilla" bloggaren och låt oss flytta nu också! Helena!
Helena: Alla bloggar(e) är lika mycket värda. De bloggar vi flyttade först valdes helt enkelt för att de var de mest komplexa att flytta. Våran målsättning har alltid varit att genomföra en så säker flytt som möjligt, av alla bloggar på blogg.se.
Till alla er som är besvikna på driftsituationen (att det går sakta): Senaste veckan har vi haft en oväntat stor trafikökning, vilket lett till att vissa delar av det "gamla" systemet just nustår på knäna.
Vi övervakar allt i detalj och har köpt ny hårdvara som finns på plats senast under tisdag morgon.
